Samsung data recovery
My Samsung a5 2017 has a smashed phone. it is working and receiving texts and calls but I cannot use the screen to answer them. I can’t afford the 159 to repair the screen so can you guys get my data off the phone at all? I wasn’t able to do it at home because of debugging issue, can you provide any assistance or advice?

I have a Samsung note which no longer turns on. I need to extract all the photos/videos as they have sentimental value. I contacted Samsung support centre get said it’s not possible to power on the mobile without erasing the data.

I will like to retrieve my WhatsApp messages and my texts from my Samsung Galaxy – East Riding area

Disk problems in Beverley
Dropped an external hard drive containing family photos. There is a slight rattle on gentle rocking and it won’t give access. Suspect disk dislodged or something. I need help to recover the contents of the drive please. I live just outside Beverley in the East Riding.

I have a Western Digital HD that is still in warranty that is faulty (cannot be seen by my Macs). WD will provide a replacement but first I need to recover the data on the disk. Following that I will need a receipt from yourselves for the service which I will then forward, along with then disk to WD for a replacement. (Note, I am funding the recovery not WD). I’m guessing this is something you can do. Can I ring you for a price and the best way of getting it to you.

Toshiba 16GB USB has just stopped working, almost every document in every folder has turned into absolute nonsense. I was adding image files to a folder and it just stopped working. Is there any way to recover the files? Most are my research/articles/PhD work and really valuable.

The hard drive is not showing on my laptop and is making a fan noise there are no clicking noises. I would like to be given a quote on prices and if I can come in for assistance and consultation. The hard drive has very important documents which I need for work.

Seagate 6TB hard drive. Accidentally fell onto floor from table due to cable being tugged by a persons bag.
Now clicks, tries to start itself and stops.
Loaded for MAC computer and now doesnt show up.
Very important film software on device.

Inaccessible, errors and hard drives not recognised

without comments

Inaccessible hard drive
I have a 500gb WD My Passport Ultra. It was used on a work PC for years and then I plugged it into a new home iMac to upload some data. Now my work PC cant access the drive. I plugged it back into the iMac to see if it would work there but it doesn’t. I have had the drive checked out on a PC by a repair specialist and was told that the drive registers on the PC and so there is no problem with the cable.

Error on I/O device
My Seagate 2tb external hdd has not been dropped or damaged started making clicking noises this was followed by and I/O device error message when trying to access the files. The hdd shows on my pc when connected but is not always allowing me to access files and when I can it took 30minutes to copy 90jpeg files to pc.
The hdd has approx 400gb of data on it mainly jpeg

USB not recognised
USB Flash Drive (Sandisk Cruzer Blade) cannot be used. When the pen drive is plugged into a Windows 10 laptop (tried on 2 PCs) it takes a while (roughly 30 seconds) and then gives the error message that it was not recognised – it says the device malfunctioned and is not recognised. The drive was working completely fine earlier in the day but now cannot be used on any windows 10 laptop or even the ps4 which it will typially be recognised on. There is a lot of important college work on that drive and getting it working or at least getting back the files is rather urgent. Please help me however you can and the ipswich office is within walking distance and so if it is possible I would very much like to bypass the delivery service and just bring it in (if you would allow that) since I really need those files.

Encrypted RAID 1 Data required

without comments

This post I look at recovering the data from encrypted hard drives.

Encrypted data2 x 250gb drives on a raid 1 mirror. Drives have been encrypted.
Can you recover, approx 50gb of data?

An encrypted Toshiba laptop hard drive that failed and has since been removed and replaced. It tries to start spinning but fails. I need to recover some documents and folders from it.

We have 2 drives that have failed in a specialist server. We believe it is a mechanical failure and was wondering if it is possible to clone the drive’s if we sent to you for analyses. I believe the disks were in a raid 1 array.

Laptop harddrive is recognised but i cannot get on to it, i have the recovery code but it just hangs on the bitlocker screen (obviously the data is encrypted). Would like to know likely costs for recovery. The hard drives stopped working suddenly, hard drives stores all my data. When I switch on pc recognises device but cannot access or open. If you can get me on the phone please can I have a number to call you? I’m often in appointments. I’d like to drop the device to the Liverpool centre

For more than a week, when I have plugged my external hard drive in my mac and no icon appears on my laptop. I do not remember that my hard drive fell or anything, there is no strange noise and the light still works when I plug it… I do not really understand why it is not working anymore.

My WD passport is not recognised by my Mac and makes a continuous clicking sound. Is there a way to repair the disk?
And if not, could the stored files be recovered with its original file names?

Hard drive not being detected and device is in warranty. would like to know whether i can claim the waranty.

I have two encrypted WD 1TB My Passport drives that are mirrored in a RAID 1 array which I use to back up my Macbook air and also store videos on an encrypted (file vault) partition for which I have the password. The drive has been intermittently having problems being recognised by my mac, and two days ago stopped being recognised at all. I did manage to restart in recovery mode and disk utility was able to see the drive but I didn’t have another drive to copy contents too so was not keen to mess with it. I still can’t access the drive and need to try to recover the data. Would really appreciate help with this.
